Cutting Edge Joinery was founded in 2019 by Jake, the company's director, with a deep passion for woodworking and a wealth of experience in producing high-end furniture. Jake's successful career includes working with Gaze Burvill, where he honed his craft in furniture design and CNC machining, as well as building a strong partnership business in general carpentry and joinery. With a clear vision and a desire to work independently, it was the perfect time to establish Cutting Edge Joinery.

Since starting out, the company has found its niche in the bespoke furniture market, specialising in high end fitted pieces such as wardrobes, TV media units, bookcases, vanity units, and even custom beds. Although we have remained in the same location, we have expanded into three units, with the original space now serving as our dedicated spray shop.

Our growth has been driven by the expansion of our talented team, whose diverse skill set allows us to consistently produce the high-quality cabinetry for which we are known. While our primary focus is on custom cabinets and furniture, we continue to offer a range of other joinery services, including our cutting service, shelf brackets, doors and gates, which remain an integral part of the business.

As we continue to grow and after great success with our shelving brackets, we are excited to gradually introduce more products to our online store, allowing us to reach new customers while maintaining the exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail that sets us apart in the industry.
